Steven spent his early career in a product and project management capacity with start-up internet companies in New York focused on e-commerce, retail, online marketing, and online advertising.  In early 2005, seeing a lack of subject matter skilled recruiters in the marketplace, Steven founded NYCREX, with a mission of bringing expert level candidates and expert teams to clients in the New York area.  Today, NYCREX has a national recruiting presence with corporate headquarters in New York.

Steven holds a Bachelors Degree in Marketing from the State University of New York at Albany, and a Certification in Computer Science from Hofstra University.  Steven is also a Professional Member of SHRM, the Society for Human Resource Management.  Additionally, Steven acts as Chief Strategy Advisor to HNW Global Inc., a provider of brokerage and facilitation services for government and commercial clients throughout the world.

Michael began his career in Real Estate as Licensed Real Estate Sales Agent, and re-focused his efforts around real estate staffing in 2005 with the founding of NYCREX.  Mike is responsible for finding and attracting top real estate talent in the New York City metropolitan area for a client base of boutique, mid-size, and large real estate brokerages and real estate management companies.

Michael earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology from Hofstra University.  Mike is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in New York State and operates a boutique firm, HNW Realty Corp.  He is also President & CEO of HNW Global Inc.

Richard Englander
Research Director & Accounting

Richard brings 40+ years of professional experience to the team at NYCREX, having worked in an operations capacity with large financial institutions and banks for the past 15 years, and having been a business owner early on in his career.  Richard's responsibilities include the day to day operations of the research team at NYCREX, as well as all financial and accounting responsibilities.

Richard holds a Bachelors Degree in Marketing & Management from Philadelphia University, as well as a Certificate in Accounting from Hofstra University.  Richard is also a Tax Associate with H&R Block in New York City during tax season.

Joseph Einav

Joe is responsible for the candidate development aspects of the NYCREX Real Estate practice area.  He is a frequent speaker in the New York Real Estate community, and plays an integral role in the candidate selection and interview process.  Joe is truly aware of all that NYCREX has to offer, himself having been on the candidate side of the equation, successfully placed by NYCREX with one of our clients.  As a New York State Licensed Real Estate Sales Agent, Joe has a hands-on understanding of the role that the right recruiter can play in the early stages of an Agent's career.

Joe holds a Bachelors of Science Degree from Syracuse University, with a major in Finance & Accounting, having graduated Magna Cum Laude, and is currently earning his Juris Doctorate at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

Marcelo Castillo

Marcelo is an internet industry experienced project and operations manager with deep technology expertise.  After spending several years managing large scale development projects for Fortune 500 accounts with a leading outsourced technology consulting firm in Costa Rica, Marcelo joined the team at NYCREX® as a Recruiting Manager.  He is responsible for the day to day activites of the offshore research office and team, as well as the architecture and development of key technology solutions including Rbitrage™.  Marcelo brings to NYCREX a strong understanding of key technologies and is an essential part of the candidate evaluation and vetting process.

Marcelo holds a Computer & Systems Engineering degree from the Universidad Internacional de las Américas in Costa Rica, and continues to remain a hands-on developer currently utilizing advanced technologies in the areas of cloud computing and distributed applications.
