What is Equity Recruiting?

A service for pre-funding, seed, angel, and early stage companies whereby we play a key part in your company's early and long term strategic development, in exchange for an equity position in the startup company.

This service is only available to truly unique and game changing startups who choose to enter into a strategic and exclusive recruiting relationship with NYCREX®.  We thoroughly evaluate the startup's business plan, founders and management team, products and/or services, existing and potential clients, market opportunity, exit strategy, and board of directors, often requiring a position within your board - much in the same way as does a venture capital firm.

Our capital is delivered in the form of people resources.  Fees that would normally have been paid as cash in a Contingent Recruiting capacity, are paid in equity.  This method allows the startup to leverage their limited amount of working capital - the most critical resource for startup companies.

This service carries many of the same terms of Contingent Recruiting.  Fees are paid by the employer and are only payable contingent upon an offer being made to a candidate, acceptance of the offer by the candidate, and a successful start of employment.

Furthermore, these fees are contingent upon a probationary period of employment, during which the new employee must remain employed by the company.

Candidates do not pay any fees whatsoever.
